切れ味鋭いカッティングギターと抜群の疾走感、やけにリアルな日常描写がクセになる名盤。
アレックスの英国訛りと若いエネルギー全開のリリックが当時のUKシーンに新風を呼んだ。無駄のないアレンジで衝動的、でもキャッチー。リアルな若者の夜の空気、皮肉とユーモアと共に詰め込まれてる。
Arctic Monkeysの他作品よりストレートでグルーヴィー、イギリスの2000年代ギターロックを象徴する一枚。
